What is on my desk?

Hi guys, I'm back! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged in a week, I've just got a new job so it's been a bit hectic. Anyway I thought if any of you are like me (nosy) you might like to have a look around my desk.
My Desk, straight on.
From left to right: This is my stationary, I just have jotting paper and all my pens. and in the silver box at the bottom I have paracetamol, ibuprofen, soothers, herbal calming tablets etc.

Middle: I have my mirror on the wall, a heart ornament waiting to be put on the wall which I gotten around to putting up yet. An Easter egg for my niece, I have so many left to buy. All of my make up brushes in a purple container. at the bottom of the picture is my laptop.

Left: I have my container from my Christmas LUSH box, containing all of my toiletries (body wash's, shampoo's, hair products.) In front of that I have just a random gift box with some nail polishes and a mini manicure kit. Then you can see my cup of tea. Then you can see my magazines, drawers and scales. My magazines aren't very interesting, I have Grazia, OK!, Star and Reveal. I have scales on my desk because I was putting things on eBay and need to know how much postage was going to be.

In my drawers I have hair grips, bands and decorations. I also have jewellery and toothpaste etc.
On top I have Mr Bumble from LUSH. 2 small cupcake lip glosses, I also have an Ann Summers Perfume called Be Naughty.
So that's it, that's my desk. Thank you for reading, if you have any questions or requests please leave me a comment. Also please follow my blog, I put up a post at least once every week!

Lush Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly- First Impressions

Hi Guys, I am going to tell you my first impressions of the LUSH Sweetie pie shower jelly.
I adore this scent! It smells so sweet it is made of Cherries, coconut, jelly and sparkles.
It is the ultimate perfect product for using before a girly night out or for every day, the scent lasts on your skin all day.
This product can be used in many different ways, you can

Jiggle ‘em, chill ‘em, freeze ‘em, at first I want sure quite how it would work to freeze it but I did some research and I found this: They don't actually freeze like an ice cube they just go really cold. I thought it'd be like an ice cube but it was just really cold, you just use them like a normal shower jelly. Personally I couldn't imagine putting a freezing cold jelly on my skin whilst enjoying a nice hot shower.

Over all, I think this is a really girly product and I will definitely be re-purchasing this. I could easily use this every day!

Valentines Day make-up

Hi Guys, this is going to be a very dramatic smokey eye look. Perfect for a steamy night in or a girly night out.

Products I have used:
Avon eyeliner and concealer (to purchase speak to your local Avon rep)
Brushes from 24ace.co.uk

Firstly I put my foundation on, I apply this with my fingers. Then I get started on my eyes, I put a shimmery light/white colour all over the lid then I put a black or grey colour on the outside of the lid and work into the crease. Blend this all until you are happy with the way it looks, once I am happy I apply my liquid liner and comb through my lashes before applying my mascara. I then fill in my eyebrows and comb them through. I then conceal under my eyes and powder my skin, I then contour and put on my blush. Lastly I put on lipstick and then it is finished ready for your date, steamy night in or a girly night out.

January Favourites

Hey Guys, I am going to tell you about my January Favourites, I know it's a bit late but better late than never, eh?

Superdrug Mud Therapy, Raspberry exfoliating mud mask. basically, after cleansing you massage this into the skin  leave it for 10-15 minutes and wash off. I have been loving this because I have oily skin I always feel that my skin is greasy and after using this it seems although my skin is normal and my make up stays on better the day after I have used this. I got this from Superdrug for around £3.

LUSH slammer shower gel, This smells very citrus like this product is obviously meant to wake you up. I use this in my hair mostly it seems to give me a lot of volume and my hair doesn't get as oily as quickly. I've just noticed it says on the bottle that it is an effective hangover remedy too. I haven't tried this out but if you all insist I will try for you. lol. This product is vegan friendly so is perfect for everyone, it was a gift so I don't know how much it is.

Avon advanced techniques intense repair hydrating leave-in milk, When I wash my hair I don't condition because I have oily hair so I have no reason to add more moisture but over the years the ends of my hair have been damaged from heat etc. So I have been using this on the ends of my hair. This product smells amazing, I cant really describe the smell but either way I would recommend this to everyone! I think this was around £3. They don't sell this anymore but I think this will do the same kind of thing.

MUA heaven and earth eye shadow pallet, I adore this pallet it has all the colours you could need for a day to day use. I use this everyday and you can create so many looks. All of the colours are neutrals and so they suit everyone. I got this from Superdrug for £4, it is well worth the money!

Rimmel London Rich moisture shade 401 Amethyst shimmer, I use this colour pretty much everyday at the moment. I tend to put it on, rub it in and wear a gloss over the top. It is such a wearable colour. It has new packaging and a new name

Collection 2000 super-size fat lash mascara, this is the best mascara I have ever used. It lengthens and adds volume and is so cheap! I would really recommend this for anyone that has a problem getting length in your lashes.

LUSH WHOOSH shower jelly- First impressions

So, for birthdays and Christmas' my boyfriend always buys me a gift set from Lush. This Christmas he bought me a Santa tin with lots of shower goodies in. If you would like me to show you all of the goodies please leave me a comment and I will do that for you.

This is the tin that they came in.

The product I will be reviewing is the whoosh shower jelly, this is meant to help you focus when tired, if you are jet lagged or revising for exams. Now, I am neither of these but I did just wake up and could do with a boost of something to help wake me up. On the pot it says you can chill, freeze or just use it out of the pot. I'm not quite sure how it would be used chilled or frozen. If you know please leave a comment and let me know.

This product did exactly what it says it does, it definitely wakes you up. However, I don't like the texture and I hate the smell, it is made of lemon, lime and rosemary, for me I can think of nothing worse then smelling of citrus fruits. On the other hand it lathered up really well and definitely made me feel clean and awake.

All in all, if you like the smell if citrus fruits or are tired a lot I would definitely recommend this for you.

I do know they also do this product in Sweetie Pie which is a much sweeter product. I have this one also but I haven't used it yet. When I do I will let you all know what I thought of it.

Here is where you can buy this product: https://www.lush.co.uk/product/473/Whoosh---100g

Thank you for reading, if you have any questions or requests please leave me a comment. Also please follow my blog, I put up a post every week, I am thinking for posting twice a week, if I can get more followers I will definitely do that!

What's in my make-up bag? and reviews.

I'm Back! I was planning on doing a what's in my bag blog for you today but I recently ordered a new bag so I thought I'd wait until it got here until I did that for you.

These are all the products I will be telling you about, I will talk about them in the order I use them in.

Okay lets get started!

I have spoken about this primer before, it is the MUA primer from Superdrug, this costs £4. This is the only primer I have ever used and I love it, it makes me make up go on more evenly and makes it last longer. I love this and would definitely recommend it!

This is the Miss sporty so matte perfect stay 14 hour foundation in shade 2. This cost me around the £3.50 mark. Now, it doesn't last 14 hours but it does last until I get home every day, so around 10 hours. It definitely needs a powder to stay matte and to stay put. Over all this product is okay, it isn't anything special. But it's the one I'm using at the moment.

Avon Colortrend concealer in shade light, I believe this was on sale for around £2. It isn't the best in the world but it does the job. It covers dark circles well but if you use too much it can become cakey.

Rimmel Stay matte powder in translucent this was around £3-£4. I love this powder it is the best one I have tried and I don't plan on changing the one I use any time soon! I would recommend this to anyone!

Chilli Pepper blusher pot from Boots. I have no idea how much this costs but it is a gorgeous pink with shimmer, it isn't very pigmented but either way I love this. I don't know if they still sell this I got it for Christmas a few years ago.

MUA heaven and earth eyeshadow pallet. This is my favorite! It cost £4 and I think it is well worth it! I love this pallet you can use it for any occasion and create so many different looks. I would recommend this to everyone!

2true effortless waterproof eyeliner black, this is £1.99 from superdrug. I have used this eyeliner for years I have tried many others and always come back to this. Now, I wouldn't say that it was waterproof but it is the same price as the regular one and does stay better, for me it is a no-brainer!

Collection 2000 supersize fat lash mascara in the shade ultra black, I got this from Wilkinsons for around £2.50 I think that is such a good price for such an amazing product. I love this, it adds a lot as length and fans lashes and gives the effect of more lashes, you can add volume by applying more product.

Rimmel London Rich moisture lipstick in Amethyst Shimmer. I have no idea where I got this from or how much it was but I would definitely recommend this if you like a pink lip, you can mute the colour a bit or make it super bright!

Firstly sorry my brushes are dirty. I got these in a set from 24ace.co.uk I have a base eyeshadow brush a crease brush and a blending brush. I also have a powder brush and a blusher brush. I'm assuming you all know how to use these. I believe the set was on sale more around £2.50 which is an amazing price for around 12 brushes!

This was a gift so I don't know how much it was but I know that it was from superdrug. It is quite small but it fits lots in it!

This is a random one this is a perfume sample of VIVA by Fergie, I like to carry samples around with me in case I fancy a little freshen up and I feel this is the only way I will use my samples up.

Thats it guys, thank you for reading and I hope you liked it.

MY MUA COLLECTION... SO FAR

Firstly, I LOVE MUA it is so inexpensive and good quality. MUA is only available in Superdrug. I never pay a lot of money for make-up because I can't afford to and I don't see the point, you end up taking it off at the end of the day anyway.

Okay so these are the items I own and my opinions of them.

This pallet is the Heaven and Earth pallet and it only cost me £4 and because it has a mixture of matte and shimmer I get use out if it nearly every day. They are very pigmented and have quite good staying power, I have oily skin and eyelids so I have to use a primer but I have no problem with this product. I would highly recommend this item.
http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/make-up-academy-professional-eye-palette-heaven+earth/invt/267771/&bklist=

This is the primer I use, now... I have never used another primer so I don't have much to compare it to but since I have been using this I have noticed that my make up has been lasting longer and goes on more evenly. This also cost me £4 for 27ml but I would definitely re-purchase and recommend this.
I can not find this online so I can't put a link, ask in you're local Superdrug store for more information.

This foundation used to be my favorite the only reason I stopped using it is because I found a foundation that is better for my skin type. I have this in shade 2 and it does have a matte finish then as the day goes on it gets a bit dewy. the coverage is normal but it is build-able. I paid £2 for this and it is 30ml which a very reasonable price.
http://www.superdrug.com/face/make-up-academy-professional-matte-foundation-honeycomb/invt/267755/&bklist=

This is the first cream blush I have owned and I have this in the shade Dolly, I paid £2 for this so a very good price. I loved this when I first started using it, after a while I thought it made me look too dewy and having oily skin that isn't always a good thing.
I couldn't find the link to the right colour but this is the same product: http://www.superdrug.com/face/mua-blush-perfection-cream-blusher-yummy/invt/539157/&bklist=

This is a mosaic blush in the shade English rose, I love the colour but it is so shimmery it doesn't suit my skin type. It is such a shame and it was so cheap at £2.50. I would really recommend this for someone who likes a natural dewy look or someone with dry skin.
http://www.superdrug.com/face/make-up-academy-professional-mosaic-blusher-english-rose/invt/267766/&bklist=

So, this is the mascara they make and it is only £1 and I wouldn't pay that for it again. You can tell that it is cheap I don't like the brush on it I feel you get barely any product on the brush so it takes a really long time to get your lashes how you want them to be. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
http://www.superdrug.com/eyes/make-up-academy-mascara-shade-5/invt/204712/&bklist=

I have 2 MUA lipsticks in the shades Bare shade 14 and shade 9. Shade 9 is the one on top and this is a very wearable colour and perfect for everyday or for a party. Shade 14, bare is not, it is a lot brighter than it looks in the picture I picked up the wrong colour by accident and it really washes me out and just isn't a good colour for me. They stay really well and are very cheap at £1 each!

Thank you for reading and I will be trying to post every week for you guys.
Thank you,
